Transfer peels or lifts at the edges
Pressure or time is usually too low. Increase pressure first, then time, and check the lower pad is flat and not worn.
Uneven result across the platen
Check pressure is set evenly and the lower pad is level. A worn silicone pad or an uneven surface under the machine causes cold spots.
Temperature reading differs from the setting
Let the machine heat for 10–15 minutes before pressing, then check the platen with a surface thermometer. Contact us if the difference stays large.
Machine does not heat
Check the power supply, fuse and power switch. Send us a photo of the controller display and we will help diagnose the controller or heating element.
Pneumatic press does not close or open smoothly
Check the compressor supplies the recommended air pressure and that hoses and fittings are not leaking.
